Set within the gardens of Naby Farm Country Haven in Wellington, Cape Winelands, Liese and Jan’s wedding was designed to feel intimate, celebratory and deeply connected to its surroundings. Inspired by the relaxed abundance of an Italian garden gathering, the floral design centred on a timeless green and white palette, expressed through sculptural, modular arrangements and layers of textural foliage. Every flower and foliage variety was locally grown and seasonally sourced, allowing the landscape and time of year to naturally shape the design.

Created entirely foam free, the florals celebrated a more considered approach to sustainable wedding design without compromising on abundance or expression. Seasonal flowers were layered with foliage and unexpected harvest elements, bringing a sense of generosity and life to the tables and surrounding spaces. The result was a garden-style Cape Winelands wedding that felt natural rather than arranged, with every botanical element belonging to the place, season and story of the celebration.
